Welcome
Art therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses the creative process to support emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Through art-making, people can express thoughts and feelings that might be hard to put into words. It draws on the idea that creativity is a natural form of communication.
Art therapy doesn’t require any artistic skill; it’s about using images, colors, and materials to explore what’s beneath the surface and already inside of us.
Testimonials
“Our daughter was experiencing a lot of stress that she wasn’t able to express constructively. [Therapy] was able to create a bond of trust with her and has helped her to develop confidence, resilience, and the ability to put voice to the issues that bother her. She is far more settled and able to communicate her thoughts and feelings.
We can’t thank you enough for all that has been done”
— Parent of child attending therapy
“Because of art therapy and the work we’ve done, I have a better understanding about what’s going on inside my head instead of feeling like it’s a jumbled ball of mixed feelings.
Art therapy helps me sort out my thoughts and understand which ones are controlling me and which ones I want”
— Teenage client
“In this empathetic & compassionate therapeutic environment…I was able to do good work with anxiety, perfectionism, and negative emotions. Through the process of creating, seeing the finished products and the discussions that arose, I learned much about myself and experienced personal growth.
From experience I would not have come to the same realizations or experienced the same growth through talk therapy”
